Menu and operations

Multilingual, tailored to your restaurant.

Serve your guests in the languages that make sense for your business.

Choose your menu languages and adapt that selection as your needs change. Restaurants welcome different guests; your menu does not need a fixed configuration either.

Their tastes. Your menu. A path to choosing.

AlignCue turns your menu into a guided experience. Marco helps guests discover what to order based on their tastes and budget, through journeys prepared by each restaurant around its dishes. It explains every suggestion and keeps restrictions between steps.

With menu and operations integrated, a choice becomes an order, and kitchen and bar work with visible queues and their own limits.

  • For guests: explained choices in their language, keeping diets, allergen exclusions and budget between steps.
  • For the restaurant: journeys configured around its categories, dishes and reviewed information.
  • For staff: guests can open a recommended dish, review options and prepare their order.

Marco also guides you through this website: tell him what you want to improve and explore our software journeys. An example of our work you can try right here.

Try a journey with Marco
Marco
  1. What are you in the mood for?

    I want something vegan.

  2. Narrow down the choice

Up to €15 per dish, keeping the vegan preference.

  3. You decide

See why it fits, open the dish and choose its options.

The budget applies to each dish’s base price. Review variants and extras before confirming.

Food information depends on records reviewed by the restaurant. When a restriction lacks supporting data, Marco refers guests to staff; it does not certify the absence of allergens.

Every restaurant sets its own pace.

Kitchen and bar see what is waiting, being prepared and ready. Set a maximum queue and preparation capacity for each station to suit your service.

  • Limits for waiting orders and portions in preparation per station.
  • Manual release or automatic release every 2, 3 or 5 minutes, subject to configured capacity.
  • Pause releases and authorise priority with a recorded reason.
Explore Operations

If a station reaches its waiting-order limit, the new order is not confirmed and the guest keeps their basket. Intervals control entry into preparation; they are not delivery times.

A complete service

Before, during and after every visit.

From reservations to pickup, from today's offer to guest benefits: every function keeps the restaurant connected.

Your restaurant, connected in the cloud

Menu, Control and Operations share the same restaurant information. Management receives activity through its connector.

Campaigns that follow your calendar

Schedule daily specials and promotions with multilingual copy, mobile and desktop images, and restaurant dates. Preview before publishing.

A menu that reflects service

Mark dishes, variants or extras as sold out and reactivate them when available. Menu and Marco show the available offer; if it changes before confirmation, guests keep their basket.

Hours and portions under control

Set ordering hours for dishes or categories, date exceptions and service portions. Each confirmed order consumes its quota.

Reviewed food information

The kitchen reviews ingredients, allergens, traces and options before publishing. Marco combines that information with availability, preferences and budget, and refers uncertainties to staff.

Attention at every stage of service

Track waiting, preparation and ready dishes with station alerts and optional sound. Guests request help or the bill from their table and floor staff handle the request.

The whole service in one view

See open tables, balances, queues, portions, timings and cancellations by period. Management connects net sales, discounts and reviewed recipe costs.

A guest account, when wanted

Book or order pickup as a guest. An optional account with an email link identifies your bill or share and gives access to restaurant benefits.

Meaningful coupons and points

Create coupons with dates and limits, and reward net paid spending with points. Guests use one coupon or reward before the first payment; amounts reconcile with their share and reports.

Reservations coordinated with floor staff

Guests request a date, time and party size. Staff assign and confirm tables without overlaps; guests manage reservations through a private link and arrival opens the visit.

Pickup prepared at the right time

Guests choose a slot with capacity and follow the order through a private link. The kitchen receives preparation at the configured lead time; checkout records payment and staff confirm collection.

Mobile payment through the restaurant's POS

Guests pay the bill or their share on a phone through the restaurant's contracted virtual POS. The bank result is reconciled with the bill and payments.

Frequently asked questions

Where can I use AlignCue?

On our servers or at your restaurant. Access it in your browser on Linux, Windows and iOS.

Can the menu and operations be purchased separately?

The starting point for AlignCue: a multilingual digital menu, orders and service coordination in one system. The menu and operations are purchased together.

Can we use a custom domain?

Yes. We can connect a domain the restaurant already owns or manage a new one. Service scope and domain costs are specified in the menu and operations proposal.

Can we change the daily special and create a promotion?

Yes. You can prepare a promotional PNG from a dish and configure the header with an image, video or campaigns. The restaurant reviews the content and publishes it on social media.

Which language does the printed bill use?

It is configured per venue. In Andorra it is locked to Catalan; elsewhere staff can choose from enabled languages. It is a non-fiscal operational document.

How many tablets are needed?

There is no fixed number. Guests can use their own phones or the restaurant's tablets, and each work screen can cover one or several functions. The final number depends on whether floor, kitchen, bar or checkout need their own view.

Does it work if the Internet fails?

The local installation can continue while on-site equipment and networking work. Cloud operation requires Internet: during an outage, order submission pauses and staff follow the fallback procedure.

Does it replace fiscal systems or process cards?

The AlignCue bill is operational. Guests can pay on a phone through the restaurant's contracted virtual POS, while checkout records other payments. The bank processes payment; fiscal documents are issued by the restaurant's certified system. Available payment methods depend on the bank contract.

How are data protected and recovered?

Backups are encrypted and their restoration is verified. An external copy of the already encrypted file can also be configured; retention and recovery are tested for each installation.

Can the menu and languages be customised?

Configurable languages. You can add or remove languages to suit your restaurant’s needs.

Can Management work without the rest of AlignCue?

Yes. It can manage purchasing, inventory, recipes, production, waste and internal finance independently. When connected to the service application, it receives activity and avoids duplicate entry.

Can it be rolled out in the cloud and in stages?

Yes. Menu, Control and Operations share restaurant information in the cloud with remote support. Management connects to incorporate activity into business control. Rollout includes configuration and testing for each restaurant and can happen in stages. Cloud operation requires Internet; local installation has its own continuity procedure.

Can a group order without waiting for everyone?

With the menu and operations foundation, each guest can send rounds from their phone to the same table. Kitchen and bar receive items as they arrive. Staff review splitting and settlement at checkout.

Who prepares the design and Marco's information?

AlignCue prepares the agreed structure, colours, header and video. The restaurant updates dishes, prices, photos, availability and promotions in the panel. The kitchen validates ingredients, allergens and traces; we configure and check Marco against those records. Discovery paths are prepared by each restaurant around dish type, ingredients and budget. Food restriction enquiries are referred to staff when records have not been reviewed.

How do we control hours and the last portions?

Set ordering hours for dishes or categories, date exceptions and service portions. Each confirmed order consumes its quota.

Does the guest need an account?

Book or order pickup as a guest. An optional account with an email link identifies your bill or share and gives access to restaurant benefits.

How do coupons and points work?

Create coupons with dates and limits, and reward net paid spending with points. Guests use one coupon or reward before the first payment; amounts reconcile with their share and reports.

Who confirms reservations?

Guests request a date, time and party size. Staff assign and confirm tables without overlaps; guests manage reservations through a private link and arrival opens the visit.

How do we organise pickup orders?

Guests choose a slot with capacity and follow the order through a private link. The kitchen receives preparation at the configured lead time; checkout records payment and staff confirm collection.
